Claudio Piergrossi has dedicated his life to the art of hairstyling, a journey that began with his family’s business in Spoleto. His parents opened a small perfumery with an adjacent hair salon in 1968, laying the foundation for what would later become a recognized name in the industry. Over nearly 60 years, the business evolved, adapting to new trends while maintaining a deep commitment to quality and innovation.
Claudio officially joined the family business in 1990 after completing his studies. However, his parents encouraged him to expand his expertise beyond Spoleto. He spent years training and working in some of the most prestigious salons in Northern Italy, learning from renowned stylists. His passion for hairstyling took him even further—he traveled abroad, particularly to England, where he refined his skills under industry pioneers like Vidal Sassoon and Toni & Guy. These experiences shaped his approach, merging Italian creativity with British precision and technique.
In 1996, Claudio returned to Spoleto with a new vision. Alongside his family, he expanded the salon into its current space, which now spans 200 square meters. He wanted to create a space that allowed for different areas dedicated to specific aspects of hairstyling, ensuring the best experience for each client. Over the years, the business continued to grow and evolve, always staying at the forefront of trends and techniques. Today, his sister, Ilaria Piergrossi, is also part of the team, specializing in men’s hairstyling.
Beyond running the salon, Claudio has always been passionate about education. After years of working in top salons, he became a trainer, teaching at prestigious academies for over a decade—three years in an Italian-based academy and seven years in an English-style training institute. Even after leaving formal teaching, he continued working as a stylist for major brands, conducting training sessions across Italy and contributing to the industry’s research and development.
For him, hairstyling is not just about cutting or coloring—it’s about understanding each client’s unique characteristics and desires. His approach begins with an in-depth consultation to assess the client’s personal style, facial features, and skin tone. Through the science of harmony, he ensures that every color and cut complements the client’s natural beauty.
The salon is particularly known for its expertise in personalized hair regeneration. Claudio and his team prioritize hair health in every service, tailoring treatments to each individual’s needs. Whether it’s a cut, color, or transformation, they always ensure that the hair remains strong and healthy. To achieve this, they use advanced diagnostic tools such as microcameras to assess scalp health and provide the best possible solutions for each client.
Among their innovative services is “EP Chromia,” a technique that allows clients to discover their ideal hair color through fabric testing. By placing different colored veils near the face, they determine the most flattering shades based on the client’s skin tone. This meticulous process ensures a harmonious and natural look.
