Dress yourself with passions!
The story of “I am mon amour” begins with a mix of passions and strong feelings. We are talking about Noemi and Nando, two people with a past in the fashion world who met and created a truly unique bond – which was also reflected in their work. Noemi has always lived in Gualdo Tadino and in 1998 she opened ‘Ego’, a women’s clothing store that stands out for its originality, winning the trust of customers over the years. In 2003 she decided to expand the offer to include men’s clothing, and it was in that period that the two met.
Nando, a representative of men’s fashion, lives far away, but after a few years he and Noemi decide to combine their passions and their hearts by giving life to “I am” first and then to “I am mon Amour”, which today has become a real reference point for women’s fashion trends in the area.
“For twenty-five years we have been anticipating trends for our customers!” Nando tells us as he welcomes us to his shop in Corso Italia, sharing how their business has grown. “We are a small niche company, but we have always accompanied our customers in their daily style, trying to dare and announce fashions.”
The shop is truly a jewel with a style with a unique and recognizable character.
“Gualdo Tadino is a city that loves fashion! Noemi and I are dedicated to doing a lot of research abroad to always be one step ahead with the latest trends. And you know what? In the square of Gualdo Tadino there is a great openness to these novelties. Over time, our ‘aficionados’ have grown up and now their daughters also follow us; This fills us with joy and pushes us to continue on this path!”
Imagine along the walls two long rows of dresses to choose from: you can find the sequin dress, the tulle skirt, the leather jacket and the bon ton pants.
“We decided to offer sizes from XS to L and work together with our customers to create their own unique style. Today elegance is a concept that is no longer enough; styles mix! You can wear a sheath dress with a leather jacket and boots and feel perfect for both an event and the office.”
Accessories such as shoes, boots and bags appear among the shelves. “We choose only niche Italian brands, both for clothing and accessories, discovering them at fairs and proposing original combinations.”
The shop windows are always enchanting and often change with themed scenographies.
This winter the colours of the forest are dominant: greens and browns, soft volumes and long dresses, there is a return to femininity. Even if Noemi loves Total black, Nando intervenes to balance the choices, daring even with the colours. There is a real understanding between them that they gladly share with anyone who enters their lives. “We want to create a special bond with our visitors; This is the perfect place to stop, perhaps for a coffee, discover the news and have a chat. We like to hear their stories, because then we can better understand who they are and come up with ideas that really reflect their personality.”
A magical meeting theirs, who have been able to merge their passions and make the people who visit them feel special: in everyday life, creating an indissoluble relationship that lasts over time.
