Soul, funky and R&B: this is the background music that accompanied us during our visit to the Euromobili showroom, a melting pot of genres that reflects the play of contrasts and harmonies of the furnishings on display. Gianluca Viti, one of the brilliant managers – together with his two brothers Mauro and David and Partner Pietro Paffetti – is ready to welcome us, who immediately shows himself willing to tell us the story of their family business, active in the area with a history of fifty years now. “The ‘La Casa Moderna’ consortium, of which we are a member and with about seventy stores in Italy, allows us to make agreements for exclusive furnishings with medium-high end items, Italian brands of character and identity”.

An element that Gianluca is keen to highlight is his presence in the field of renovation for fifteen years, with an in-house design studio capable of following small and large construction sites: “We are facilitated by the fact that the fitters are all our employees, therefore not on commission. This is why the quality of their work is really important”.

No small advantage, as well as the efficient organization and division of roles: “In addition to the relationship with customers, I follow the various design processes together with David, who takes care of them specifically, especially the lighting sector; Mauro takes care of logistics and deliveries, while the administrative management is entrusted to Pietro Paffetti”.

The store focuses heavily on its historicity: over the years it has managed to retain a high number of customers who have returned over time. But what does the ‘added value’ of their service consist of? “First of all, being able to give, intuitively and right from the start to the person who comes to us an idea of the final effect of the project, then following him along the entire assembly process. 80/90% of the investment, therefore, is defined at that initial moment, together with any aspect concerning the interior finishes”, Gianluca points out.

Foreign customers are certainly another fundamental component of their business. “Many residents abroad, who may have a property in the area, sometimes even ask us to move to their other residences, as has already happened, often in European capitals. This more ‘international’ perspective has encouraged our stubbornness and the desire to make ourselves known, open up and experiment”.

We ask him if there is a particular style of furniture that they visually prefer: “The perfect combination is the combination of distinctive, design elements with more essential and rustic structures; We mainly use resin as a material, as it does not conflict with this type of integration.” A dialogue that also takes place with the art world: “We have a collaboration with a gallery in Verona, through which furniture projects are proposed, accompanied by works of art adapted to them”.

And looking at a present so rich in innovative ideas, what do they hope for the future of the company now? “To continue to cultivate our passion for experimentation and design, always putting ourselves to the test and avoiding resorting to the cold homologation of modern standards”.
