A project with Coop Unione Amiatina is reborn in Castel del Piano: the BodyLife gym. A well-structured centre with a wide variety of courses, it has always stood out for the professionalism and quality of instructors such as Arian, Diego, Giulio, Mattia and Simone.
“We boast more than five hundred members – says President Arian – who have decided to follow us from Arcidosso to Castel del Piano. Changes are often frightening but in this case they were well appreciated by the members”. The environment is welcoming and clean, the weight room is bright with a wide variety of latest generation machinery and various rooms. The choice of courses, both for adults and children, concerns self-defense, such as Judo and Muay Thai, classical and modern dance, such as zumba and zumba kids, and pilates, postural, yoga, walking, life pump and spinning courses. Arian carries out Muay Thai courses: “it is a sport that was practiced exclusively in Thailand – continues the president – today it is popular all over the world, and it is wonderful to see your sweaty boys who increase their self-esteem”.
Courses start in September and end in June. Before choosing which one is the most suitable, you can take advantage of two free trials. For customers interested in the weight room, the gym remains open all year round. The opening hours are from 9 am to 9 pm. It is always possible to sign up for annual subscriptions: «in this case, enjoying important discounts and various free gadgets, quarterly and monthly subscriptions and more; and if you are a member of the Coop Unione Amiatina the discounts are greater. An interesting promotion is currently underway “Who brings a friend is entitled to a month free”».
Going to the gym is not a simple pastime but, as our ancestors said, “Mens sana in corpore sano”, having a healthy mind benefits the rest of the body, and vice versa. In addition, staying active helps prevent injuries and diseases, and exercising can bring very important benefits to bones, muscles and joints, as well as preventing and relieving pain. “The gym is health,” concludes Arian, “understanding that training is good for you can give you extra motivation to start moving or to continue doing so. Training means first of all taking care of yourself, regaining personal well-being (physical and mental), fighting anxiety and stress, increasing self-esteem, feeling more energetic and active; Then there is the social aspect: new friendships and fun.”
Here are the instructors and their respective courses: Arian and Marco (muay thai); Gerardo and Cristian (judo); Diego and Giulio (personal trainer in the weight room); Alfredo, Andrea and Luca (spinning); Luisa (zumba kids, jr and adults); Miranda (ballet, modern, choreographic, adult and preparatory dance); Sandro (postural, hypopressive gymnastics, pilates, static hatha yoga, dynamic yoga, functional-trx and tabata-HIIT); Fulvio (life pump); Azzurra (walking); Mattia (instructor of the circuit course).
